Does anyone know what material that grey interior door panel is made of, (behind the perforated leather insert), I want to paint/color it instead of replacing the leather insert, I need to know what kind of paint or dye to use.

Prepped right, plastidip works on almost anything, and the great
part is, if you don't like it, peal it off.

Yea that's the problem with plastidip, it just peels right off, think I'm going to use Rust-Oleum Automotive Fabric & Vinyl Spray, will post pics when done, sorry it looks like I'm screaming.

It peals off on its own if you do not prepare the surface. This is the
cool thing with it. You don't need to mask your windows if you want
to plastidip the whole car, just prep the area where you need it to stick. So,
when you are done? Anything on anything you did not prep, peals right
off. We have done rims, and it has not pealed off, because it was done
properly. It doesn't quite have the finish most people want, but there is
a clear coat made for plastidip for that reason. I can paint my hood,
and get it all over the fenders and stuff, but if I did not prep the fenders
and stuff, it will come right off...

Still, yeah, lets see how it looks with the Rust-Oleum...
