luckily I didn't have it that bad, things could have been worse.Damn. I experienced a throttle stuck open one time on the highway. The linkage got stuck on the hose clamp I was using at the time. Lost a tire and smoked the brakes pretty bad.
I'm glad you were able to recover without incident. Have you looked into the cause?
When I had the windstar, I think the throttle got hung on the hood liner so my tuner trimmed down the metal piece that hits to set screw and it never happened again. Might be ur problem as wellluckily I didn't have it that bad, things could have been worse.
I couldn't find the cause either and it only happens when its hot or you use your foot on the pedal, if you open it by hand It dosent do it.

I need some suspension and chassis work done thats as good as I can get it with just UPR rear control arms. Every thing else is stock with 200k and no subframe connectors or cage.Awesome! Your car leaves straight as an arrow. Work on that 60' and it's got more in it.
