I just don't understand where that steal was? I mean how could you confuse a single piece, wide tail light with honeycomb vs. a 3 piece, narrower and taller tail lights? o_O

For some reason everytime i see a 05+ at night from the back and far away the tail lights do look like they are honeycomb and a single piece:eek: .

ok, lol... as weird as this is gonna sound. I now know what you mean. I was going down the highway the other day and I saw an 05 stang, but the lights from far away def. looked like the Trans Am, lol... i couldn't believe it. Then again maybe I only started seeing it after you suggested the idea :p

Keep your car. The 05+ really is just a car for those that want a more nostalgic muscle car look. The muscle car era is over. People that are trying to relive that through the new mustang are just sad.

There is so much you can do to make your v6 look better or run faster.

About the trans am tail light thing... Never ever say that Ford copied GM! :rage:

Looks wise I would say 99+>94-98>05 but maybe thats cuz I fell in love with the 94 design as a kid. I agree that the 05+ interior looks like crap. It does remind me of the cheesy Tiburon interior more than an old muscle car interior.

i plan on keeping mine. If I wanted to spend the money on a new one I could get a 96 cobra for half the price. I do like the 05+. I honestly due but it wud be a bad investment since you can get a 2005 for like 13k. they dont really hold there value at all

    lol.

So thats why the GTO, Mustang, Camaro, Challenger are all back now and are faster and more powerful then ever?

Also is that why the Skyline, Supra, and that thing Honda is building is coming back with more power and those are faster then ever a well?

Get real dude. Don't be jealous that you can't afford a new mustang. ;)

I consider the modern versions of those cars sport performance vehicles, not muscle cars. And what does a Skyline, Supra, or a Honda have anything to do with this conversation?

Back to the topic, pre 05 Mustangs FTW!

But the Honda, Toyota and Nissans are ALL ugly cars. And they are geared towards the pierced generation that like to wear baggy pants.

No. They are nice cars and they are out to whip the big 3s ass....again.

Don't be silly. A nice car is a nice car. No matter where the company's headquaters is based at.

Look under the hood of a domestic and you'll most likely see "Made in Mexico" labels everywhere. It doesn't do much good to be owned and assembled in the U.S.A. if the parts are outsourced. It's not that I don't think other countries can't make good products, but what's the point in owning a domestic since it's not actually domestic? You might as well call a Mustang an import since the parts are imported. With that said, how can you really complain about where any car is from? Cars are built with more power and more efficiency because that is what the market demands. When Ford, GM, and Chrysler get better at this that's when they will start regaining their place in the market.
