Hot Fuzz: Done by the same crew as Shaun of the Dead. I liked Shaun of the Dead quite a bit more but Hot Fuzz was still pretty good. I was expecting a bit more comedy out of it, but it had a few good laughs in it. Some of the fast motion sequences had my wife getting sick, and at times it is a bit much. But a decent story and some obvious parts to it but all in all a fun watch. 7/10.

3:10 to Yuma: A somewhat typical western starring Russell Crowe and Chistian Bale. Crowe does and excellent job playing Ben Wade, an outlaw wanted for robbery who is captured and forced to be escorted to the 3:10 train to Yuma. I couldn't get into Bales character, Dan Evans. Evans is a farmer struggling to make it and takes on the job of helping escort Wade to the station. The movie moves along at a nice pace and doesn't seem drug out. A good mix of action and gunfights as well as interesting dialogue between the characters. 8/10.

Shoot Em Up: Now, I must say you have to watch this movie with an open mind and is nothing more than an action/violence movie. For what it was, I really enjoyed it. There was some pretty bad CG in it, but if you can look past that, it's a lot of fun. I understand that a lot of people will hate it and while I may never watch it again, it was an hour and half of entertainment. Plus, Paul Giamatti plays a great bad guy. 7/10

Cuttles!
The Fog of War: Eleven Lessons from the Life of Robert S. McNamara: Great movie if you are in to History. McNamara talks about his life from WW2, Ford, and Vietnam. Very very interesting.

We were Soldiers once: I have always loved this movie and watched it the other day. Great Vietnam flick, purely about the war, no politics in it at all.

Requiem

more bitter by the day
Alien Vs Predator 2: Requiem - What a disgrace to my name. This movie was a D at best. I had a friend absolutely rave about it, but when it came down to it... Man, what a disappointment. Ooohh, ahhh, lots of people dying. The death scenes weren't even that good. No real character development what so ever, just bits and pieces of their past thrown in there. I found myself bored a lot during this movie. I just wished the movie times were right on the website we visited, because we wanted to see I Am Legend instead.

Rellik

is a dirty pirate
The Ultimate Gift: Tear Jerker, but an overall extremely good movie.

Epic Movie Uncut: OMG I can't believe I wasted 90 minutes of my life watching that thing. I want my 90 minutes back to do something more productive... like leveling my WoW character.

Like I give a ****
Live Free Or Die Hard: Great overall movie for action and true Die Hard premise. Not much more to say about that.

I Am Legend: I liked the movie very much. I thought Will Smith did a great job. I personally think the movie could have been longer because it seemed to skip over a lot of stuff and the movie developed very fast IMO.

The Great Debaters: I had a hard time getting into it the first half, but overall an incredible movie. Denzel + Forest = Can't fail. The supporting actors/actress are what made the movie great.

Layer Cake: Starring Daniel Craig of Casino Royale. I just happen to walk by this at the rental store and grabbed it, good thing I did because I loved this movie. It's about Mr. XXXX who is in the drug business and try to get out after one last score. Lots of good twists and some decent action. Sienna Miller adds some nice eye candy as well. Done by the same producer as Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch, so if you like those movies, check this out, I think you will enjoy it. 8.5/10.

Deja Vu: One of those movies where you can put the pieces together but it still has some nice twists and things that make you go ohh, that makes sense now. Of course, the whole altering time thing kind of detracts from movie for me, but it was necessary I suppose. Denzel did a good job as usual, but he often times annoys me. 6.5/10.

Pirate Of The Caribbean: At Worlds End: Way to **** up the series. I turned it off after about an hour. Maybe it's just me but I couldn't get into it at all, and I loved the first two. .5/10

AVPR-terrible movie. absolutely hated it.

Official 3.8 Legend
The Bourne Supremacy - Great movie. It builds well off of The Bourne Identity. It has a lot of good action scenes and it has enough mystery to keep you envolved. It leads nicely to the final movie. 7/10

Hot Rod: You can tell the lead was written for Will Ferrall. But I'm glad he didn't do and Samberg did a pretty solid job. The movie had some funny parts but wasn't nearly as good as other recent comedies like Superbad, Knocked Up, and 40 Year Old Virgin. I has it's moments but overall lacks. 6/10.

Jesse

The Voice of Reason
Good Luck Chuck: Very funny, Alba is hot, but still kinda a chick flick so 7/10

American Gangster: Awesome movie 9/10

In the Name of the King
: sucked, sucked, sucked, bad acting, horrible cg, story was very choppy 2/10

The Kingdom
: Very good, the kind of movie that boils your blood 8/10

Sweeney Todd: Pretty good, some of the songs werent the best but a Burton movie with depp is always a win 6/10

anything over a 5 is worth watching at least once

The Kingdom: Very intense movie. Pretty graphic and paints an intense picture of how being an American abroad can be rough. I liked the movie alot. 9/10

drinking while watching this movie ups its rating about 20 points (on a 10pt scale ;))

The Doctor
NEXT: Nicholas Cage plays a guy who can see exactly 2 minutes into the future. Well I"m sure you can see where this can be to his advantage. It was a decent movie (for never hearing of it before)...but the ending came up to abruptly in my opinion. 6.5 / 10 and not a bad movie to check out if you have 2 hours to dedicate to watching a fun / interesting flick.

Mr. Woodcock: Had some funny moments in it but they tried to play off the whole Woodcock name too much. Some jokes were painfully obvious, but others were good. Billy Bob Thornton was solid as usual and Sean William Scott, was well just like himself in every other movie. You could make a worse decision to watch but I wouldn't go out of your way to watch it. 6/10...
