i don't have the temperament to go to the theaters. it has to be something i don't really care about for the kids or the noise will bug me. if its something i really want to see, i get agitated very easily by rude people in the theater.

we prefer to go a smaller place that shows a lot of independent films. way more adult setting and i've never been bothered in the least bit. they have a bar too so that helps a lot  i had never heard of it, but looks like they are showing something now thats up for a ton of awards.........the shape of water. might have to check this one out.

I get to pick the theater flicks, and my wife gets to pick the Netflix. I love 3D movies at the theater. The Last Jed in 3D, to me, was entertaining!

She usually picks the Jesus flicks, which she has been trying to get me to watch ever since we got married. So, I was never interested in them. But now that we have a Gulf War son at home with PTSD and addicted to Meth, everything has changed.

He is a dual-diagnosis, and has been assessed as such.

Where are you located? You should see if he would try floating or float therapy. It's been showing great results helping with PTSD. It slows down that fight or flight instinct. Can also help with sleeping. Granted I'm biased because I own a float center but he should try a few sessions.

I’m not going to say you’re the only one but you are probably in the minority. I enjoy them for the most part. Still have a few I need to see. Just now saw the Age of Ultron. I think I like the X-Men series as much, if not more, than the Marvel/DC.

I don’t mind 3D movies. Most of my friends/co-workers don’t like them though.

Thanks, Jeff. We have pool and a hot tub, plus there is a floating chamber place in town. I'll at least suggest it.

I thought the 3D effect was really well done this time. I'm a huge fan of 3D and VR.

I can't do 3d because I get motion sickness. You are just a weirdo when it comes to the sunglasses thing.

nah the hat comment is dumb, but sunglasses give me a headache. same as regular eyeglasses. im blind as a bat, but can't wear them. thinking about taking a stab at contacts again, but i had trouble with those as well. my eyes are so dry that no one will even do lasik b/c it will get worse after. i need to look into prk, but my combo of super dry eyes and high pressure (glaucoma in the family) kinda leaves me out of luck for surgery.

my wife had a procedure for her dry eyes recently. something weird they do some abrasive crap to your eyelids b/c the ducts were clogged. one of my goals for this year is to get my eyes on the right path. i've been putting it off for a long ass time.

Yes I do. Can't do it though. Maybe but kids man I'd have to be super sneaky.

On a different note.... I've said the same crap about accessories before. Never worn glasses and quit hats cold turkey over ten years ago. Nothing new here to be weird about.lol.
