Looks great! I LOVE the louvers. I also want to do the Windstar swap! If nothing else, the intake looks glorious.

It's funny you mentioned the Windstar... I stated soaking it in some simple green yesturday to help loosen the carbon build up. I also stated to try out some paint combos for some different valve covers I found at the salvage yard. Sense I put the Mach 1 hood on I have hung the original hood in my family room. I think it looks pretty good there.

Good work. Hope you get the carbon deposits out of it! Where'd you get the valve covers with the Ford logo in them?

The boot I did was the factory boot with the black sticking removed and replaced with sliver. I do not have the skill to create one from scratch so, I can't help you out. Late Model has them Mustang Cobra Leather Shift Boot (94-04) - LMR.com

I always liked those Mach 1 sail panels, they follow the lines of the rear scoop better. It's funny you have a hood in your house, I bought one at a junkyard because it had this cool old tribal turtle on it and 5 shades of red, everyone thought I was nuts, but to me it was junkyard art.

I love the hood it's great art. I have friends and family sign it when the come over. It's my version of the signature wall at Shelby American. The panels are the ones off of non newedge sn95s, they are a lot cheaper and can be found at pretty much any salvage yard.

This is a little off topic but I am super excited. Last Tuesday I became a Dad...Have the next 2 weeks off and I'm hoping the shifter show up so I can install it when I have time... If I have time.
