senior exit project ideas

well ive got to pick a topic for my senior exit project. the three things i am into and was thinking i could do the project about are cars, computers and guns.

the topics i had ideas for already were

1) using the mustang and/or corvette OR the american muscle car in general as representation of americas economy over the last 50 years

2) something regarding c++, java, or VB (the only languadges i am very fluent in and don't have to look up syntax for)

3) something about how gun control is inneffective b/c areas with fewer gun laws and/or more legal gun ownership per person have less crime than areas with stricter gun control and fewer leal gun owners

any comments on which one i should pick or any other ideas for those feilds? the project must prove something or show something to be true. i must produce a very long written paper, a product (ie some sort of visual) and a visual/oral presentation that is to be reviewed by pannel of teacheers and parents

haha, that's Texas right there, everyone's got a gun - even our law kicks ass, anyone who is on your property, you can blow away legally, no questions asked - all you say is "He was on my property, where he didn't belong"... Down here in TX, we don't call 911!!

I like this idea. It deals with something you like and manipulates the data in an interesting way to show something educational. The other 2 are so overdone anyways.

Whole 90,000!? WOW!!

Dude, I live in Houston TX, city of 6,000,000 people, NASA control, one of the biggest ship ports, top 5 largest, and most modern city, and ****ing OIL producer... and I go to University of Texas in Austin, about 2 hours away.. not so small either. Compared to this place, you DO live in hickville... I bet I see more exotic cars like ferraris and **** in 1 day, then you did the whole last year. And no, Texas in not all desert with freaken cowboys, that would be West TX, on the SE, it's all forests and ****, with a Gulf of Mexico literaly 20 min away
