I have a blown driverside sub woofer. Simple question. Can I replace with aftermarket or must I replace with oem?

It would probably be best to replace with a subwoofer of nearly the same power and electrical ratings.

I would suggest upgrading to the Kicker Shelby Sub's exact replacement upgrades only ones that will drop in.

I have them in mine and they play lower and yet even though they seem power hungry they are very efficient sub's.

I took it to an audio shop and they said the speaker is fine. The problem is with the stereo unit and needs replacement.
