Yea i bought the wrong one... and then i bought another wrong one again!

I bought the 5000 maf instead of the 3000 too the 1.10 a/r instead of .91.. an aem electronic fuel pressure guage?

Pretty much everything i bought has been wrong...

I want you to see my mistakes, i want it to be known to all that its possible even for a lightweight...
And to make it obvious that there is no handicap here.. im giving birth without a c section..

The 5000 maf is wrong? I run a hpx slot maf which is basically the same maf as the vmp5000. You will never have to buy another maf, major modifications to tune for a maf change when you peg the others. Buy once, wish I would had done this lol.

So i have 2 phenolic spacers and 3 gaskets i wanted to see if the hood will still close... i bought a second one because im afraid just one isnt enough to clear my monster tma andy fuel rails ..and i got a killer discount so if it dosent clear the hood or it really destroys my low end torque from making the runners too long.. maybe i could sell it being as that they are pretty rare shouldent be to hard.. although im not really a buy n sell kinda guy so ill prolli just sit on it n mayb use it down the road..

Anywayz, if i use one spacer i could get away with using the same bolts even though its pushing the envelope because it has like an inch of threads to play with right now so it will leave me with about 4 or 5 threads to grab ..however 2 spacers no way so im in the process of sourcing some grade A bolts here are pictures of the longer ones they have to be about an inch longer...

That 5000maf should be right. That's what I run, it's the vmp hpx slot type with holder. Should be the only one you will ever need. Hpx slot type is best for Force induction, so I've been told.

That's a negative ghost rider! Windstar swap will not fit stock hood with 1 spacer much less 2! There is an option though, you might be able touse 1 if you had the kick down tb flange vap-auto use to sell.

Lol the spacers are for the stock intake ..i was under the impression that the windstar alone would not clear the bigger fuel rails that i would need a spacer for the windstar which have yet to find hence the reason i pursued the spacers for the stock intake ..i will test fit it all on the donor car ill let you know my results...

I remember that my windstar was right on the hood. I had the hose clamp clocked to close to the top and cracked the hood. That's with the kick down spacer. I made my own motor mounts and dropped the motor 3/4" and my intake 90 ell is about 1/2" from the hood. That's without the hoods insulation.

List of things I have and need to get..

    Have
    Turbo
    Intercooler
    Blow through maf
    Wastegate
    Blow off valve
    Cold piping
    Hot piping
    Oil pan with bung fitted
Large steel braided hose for oil drain
Smaller steel braided hose for oil feed
    Windstar intake
    Phenolic intake spacers
    New intake gaskets
    Oil pressure gauge/sensor
    Air/Fuel gauge/sensor

    Need
    AEM tru boost gauge/controller
    Exhaust cutouts
Go to exhaust shop have him connect the dump from the kit to the start of the exhaust in the car. Integrate cutouts to open after more than half throttle is applied
    Turbo blanket
    Turbo timer
6shooter is helping me get the fuel situation sorted out he has already been nice enough to go out of his way and assemble a cobra tank with a fore hat new pumps filters and the level sensor all worked out and together so all i have to do is drop the old tank jack up the new one do some minor plumbing and wiring and im good to go! Lol thank you so much 6shooter!
Also 6shooter has helped me with making sure my tma andy rails fit correctly hes gone through the trouble of putting together and intake and heads and bench test fitting the rails with some injectors from the junkyard so when i go to installing with my new injector an o rings they wont leak and start a fire.
So i cant wait to get all the back from him..
Gotta make sure i change the oil before i crank it with the turbo installed
..i should knock that out before i forget
Interested in knowing my oil temperature as well for research with an oil cooler and filter relocation kit combo before and after data on this subject will give me great satisfaction

Check out Ballenger Motorsports. Excellent source for electronics such as wideband o2 sensors.

Hmmm. Don't really care for the northern east coast. Do like central and southern east coast though.
