Split Port

    Does the new 4.0 use split port technology in any way?

    No but it is SOHC.

    are cams gonna be a bitch to install for the 4.0? I heard they were...

    Yep, one of the cams is driven off the front of the crank the other is driven off of the rear of the crank but the stock cams should easily get you to 350rwhp with boost.

    hot dayam.... pete i've been reading the stuff that you've been saying about this new engine.

    Everything you say sounds so promising, i mean you said with exaust, cai and calibration it can reach 254lb tq easy, and now the cam will support up to 350rwhp? hot dayam again....
