    Hey all
I heard a familiar waterpump failure screech. I replaced all pulleys alt etc with a spare I had. Still screeched. Then I replaced the waterpump. Still screeched.

Took the belt off and it is screeching from the timing cover area.

Any ideas? Cps or crank sensor? Timing chain?

    Thanks

Verify #1 piston is at TDC on the compression stroke before swapping the cam synchronizer.

Had Problem Like That No Screech But Broke Internal Rotor On Cam Synchronizer, Contact Had Cracked Inside And Slammed Into Outside Cap And Cracked That. Oil Pump Shaft At Bottom Of Synchronizer Very Important To Be At No.1 Cyl. For Timing. Maybe New Shaft When Replacing Not Expensive. Check It Anyway Maybe Twisted.
