    Yeah they're real slow.

Wow, don't be so touchy. Nobody insulted your POS mustang. Big upgrade going from a *lol* '97 V6 to an '01 GT. I wanna be just like you when I grow up!

stock 2v gt will beat a stage 1 srt-4 from a roll or a dig (well, atleast i did) but a stage 2 or 3 will beat a gt.
i raced a stage2 w/ 18psi and took him off the line was winning about 2 or 3 cars and when he shifted to 3rd that's when he reeled me in and won by 1/2 car in the 1/8th

i hate roll racing but he wanted to roll since off the line was no contest so we did a 40 roll, which sucks since my car is an auto but i won barely by maybe half a fender or so. i know majority of times they'll squeak out the win from a roll but that's why i put that "atleast i did"

Street racing is not allowed on this forum. Please read the site rules.

I'm talking about 99% of the SRT's out there.

I know this thread is a little old but anyways, Saw a caliper srt4 at the track friday completelly stock and he ran 8.8 in the 1/8th. Also an srt6 witch ran a 8.2 tuned and pulleyed. neon srt 4's were running 8.4-8.5 modified with drag tires. Fastest tuner at the track that night was sti witch ran a 7.9. Last year he was running mid to lower 7's. I ran an 8.6 so I was right there with them all, no shame in the v6 mustang game.

    I went 8.5 @ 85.8mph on STREET tires
    13.21 @ 110.5mph STREET Tires

Drag Radials I don't remember the 1/8th but the 1/4mi
    12.7 @ 108mph

    Made 275fwhp / 320fwtq with $600 of bolt-ons ;)

Bolt-on SRT4 will have NO issue dispatching any naturally aspirated 2V power wise on topend :)

I got love for the skittles. What kind of 60ft times were you getting on those runs?

Street tires between 2.09 and 2.12 (I'm usually consistent)

I was a wimp on DRs...if I recall it was high 1.8s. I was always afraid of breaking something. It's all in the past now I've moved on from the skittle.

Gotta also remember there was a lot of stuff I didn't do so the stock turbo guys can get the ET faster and that MPH even higher. I was still on the stock fuel system (more fuel = even more boost), nothing had any port/polishing, I had a basic tune at best ($25 part I built from radio shack  ), no suspension work for traction minus motor mounts, etc. ;)

they have 60 to 130 events here every few months, not just at supra nationals.

a stock srt and a stock 2v gt are gonna be a close race. mod for mod the srt4 is easier and takes less cash to make fast.

    Not anymoreeeeeee

Personal anecdote - Years ago I raced a buddy's Srt-4 with slightly upped boost and 1 other small mod that I can't remember, anyway back then all I had was gears, shifter and a catback. I would pull him 1.5 cars to the 330, but I was hauling nuts out of the hole and he was pulling slowly up top. Drag radials, 4.10's and torque is wonderful. This isn't to be made very quick for pretty damn cheap, even I'll gladly admit that.
