summit racing wheels

I've been searching around for some decently priced drag wheels. Obviously welds were at the top of my list, but they are a little pricey. I also found some summit racing fast five wheels. Does anyone have these or know anything about them? They seem like they wouldn't be too bad. They just don't say exactly how much they weigh.

Any help is good help

Thanks!

Dumbass. That's you.
weights are for summit street stars, with tires-

33lbs front, with a 165 iirc

roughly 43lbs rear w/ a 10x26 ET street.

just weight this morning to compare to a set of Bogarts

What material are they made of? If theyre steel theyre heavy and as you well know aluminum is light.

It Wasn't Me.........
I have the summit warrior RTs on my car, they are made out of aluminum, they are a few pounds heavier then the draglights i had before them but they are much stronger since they are made from a solid peice of aluminum.

what is just the rim wieght itself ?
I was just looking at some this week myself....

I seen a chart at some point that showed the stock V6 wheels are like 14lbs (15x7) compared to a drag weld or something (15x8) that was 12lbs.

Stock v6 wheels are good wheels for slicks if they fit over your brakes. 7" wide is definitely a limiting factor.
