Haven't posted on this site, for....years. Any-who, I have a 2001 Roush Stage 2. A while ago I installed the SVE 2 piece grille delete. While I love how it looks (the stock honeycomb grill was junk imo) I can't help but notice on the sides there is a notable gap, maybe in the 1/8-1/4" range?

I remember a while ago others have noticed this gap as well. I wasn't expecting the same fit and finish that my old Mustangs OEM Mach 1 lower piece had, but I would be nice if it was mostly flush.

so, my question is, has anyone fixed the gap issue on the SVE grilles? I know some people have used double sided tape. However, for drying up the grille area after a wash, ti will make it impossible to move.

You could attempt to heat the plastic and spread it out just a little bit.
