You will need to spend 1k for a fuel system to support 700rwhp especially on a car taking corners. You need to do some research on fuel surge and slosh because you will want to prevent both of these. 60's will get you to 600rwhp but will be close to 100% dtcy.

What year block and who is building it? I've had several engine builder tell me 650-700 rwhp is about all you're going to get out of these engines with 1/2" main cap studs. I would look into maybe doing a partial fill of the block to dampen harmonic vibrations.

You have not mentioned anything on turbo or cam selection. I'd like to hear what your plans are on these if you dont mind sharing.

He's getting custom built quick spool twins. He did mention it.

Look into an actual Terminator rack, a solid steering shaft from MM.

Or, I think flaming river makes a standard rack, but it's pricy!

I've done some research and the Cobra tank is sumped and baffled as Number Tew said. I do need to do more research on it, but I need to start with the cobra system and some new injectors, everything else can be built around that. There will be some modifications made to the fuel system as I go along of course. The thing is I'll need to spend the $ to buy the cobra system at some point regardless so its just as well to look for the whole deal off of a car being parted out.

So after doing some more research and checking flow rates the Cobra dual pump system and fuel rails will only get me to ~700 engine horse. To the drawing board for a full fuel system it is!

Still looking for a cobra fuel tank to house it all though.

Too much weight. Return fuel system with at most a surge tank is what will be used. Currently waiting to hear on a complete upgraded cobra fuel system. Hopefully will get everything I need (and a lot more besides) for $1700.

Thanks! I looked them over, they offer an awesome sumped double baffle cobra tank that is pretty much EXACTLY what I wanted. No surge tank or any of that bullshit, no nothing, just awesome pumps, awesome lines, return system and all-out performance.

If you look at a new fuel system for yourself at some point the one I'm talking about is probably the best one out there for a 6. Its basically a Cobra setup thats beefed up. Its not listed on the site, but the most similar one is the 1000hp sleeper system. The double baffle cobra tank is $1780 instead of $1650 though.

I was looking at the 600 hp sleeper system. Should be able to support what I want to do.

Well most of the cost of the one I'm talking about are the pumps IIRC. Its not listed on their site so you should give them a call if you go to get a new fuel system. I think the pumps are like $450 each or some such nonsense. The tank itself is amazing though, and its always nice to not have to replace everything if you change your mind in a few years :)

Also, remember that the fuel systems are properly rated as Crank/Flywheel horsepower, so if you're looking to put down say 450-500 HP at the wheels 600 is only just barely enough, and if you edge over 500 it won't be.

yeah. When I clicked on it the page said good for up to 800 hp, so I think they mean 600 wheel. I'd definitely call and ask before I bought anything though.
