Is your backer willing to take on a limit player? Probably in the 15/30-25/50 range? :taylor:

Sounds like a sweet deal. Good luck dude.

Thanks man

So what does this guy do? Give you money to play with? What happens if you never win? Question mark?

Its not like he just throws money at me, I've been a winning player for over 3 years now and he has been around the whole time. It's not like I'm going to all of a sudden never win again, but yes If I never win he loses alot of money.

You ask.. but how much did you lose?

Just a heads up for those who are aware, the backing is going very well.

I shipped the first MTT I played under them cashed in the same one the following week for about. Played some online stuff, and cashed in a few of them but no deep runs yet.

It's definately easier to lock in when it aint yo money.

Good to hear.

Where is the money at these days? Are there still fish swimming in the NLHE ponds? I'm thinking of trying to transition to NLHE, but if there is no money there then I won't bother.

If there is money there, do you guys have suggestions on books, training sites, etc. etc.?

I've played NLHE less than a handful of times. I played twice live, and like once online. There aren't NL tables in Minnesota, so I've played LHE since I turned 18. That's why it's my game of choice. I know I can crush it, but moving up seems to take longer in LHE than in NL settings. If you guys could suggest a book or something on it, that would be greatly appreciated.

Honestly, there isn't much money in NLHE anymore online it seems. I've been playing alot live, and obviously there is and always will be fish. Online it has gotten to the point where everyone is a reg and they are waiting for a fish to hop in talking a shot and they rip him alive. Been that way for awhile now. Play some MTT's $25-$200, there's always money there. I haven't played a NLHE cash game online in about 6 months. I've been crushing 5/10 live lately.

Haven't played much lately. I always go busto online, because I blow.

Went to play in a cheap tournament today, drove 2 hours there, and saw it got canceled.

I noticed the 1/2 game was full of just ridiculousness. Only word to describe it. A lot of fish to say the least. (even though I'm one of them)

Sat down and for the first time I played a long session of live cash. I played about 6 and a half hours. Ended up 3 buy ins. Felt pretty good.

Also been trying my hand at the DoNs on pokerstars. I've played about 80 so far and I'm still at a decent ROI for the time being. I've learned I can 6 table them and still do pretty decent.

Anyways.

Well, playing in day 1 B of the heartland poker tour ME here in a couple hours.

Wish me luck.

Good luck man.

Side note, not poker related but I did this with a poker buddy. We had a prop bet that one of our friends could not eat 96 packs of gummy snacks in one hour.

I thought he could have, and I lost a lot of money when that *** only downed 19/96.

FTP finally adds draw games. 2-7 TD, 2-7 SD, and badugi are now offered.

It's about frickin' time in my opinion.

I see they are also offering 5 card draw (FL, PL, and NL), FL A-5 TD, and NL TD. I don't think I've ever seen a NL TD game being offered online.

Pretty stoked about these games. They're fun to play, and a lot of people suck at these games.
