We've watched 4 episodes. It's pretty good. If I can actually get the SO to commit to a show, chances are it's really good because he's even more critical than I am about movies and TV shows (and I'm realllly picky as you all know, ha).

Funny you say that cause the person that recommended it to me watches very little TV and it even captured their attention. Shows like that I feel like I kind of have to be in the right mindset so is part of the reason I haven't started.

I don't enjoy watching shows that are sickening/disturbing. This doesn't have that feel. Sure, some of the serial killers obviously talk about doing disturbing things, but it's not a show that leaves me feeling empty inside or that I would ever have a nightmare about... if that helps.

can't be the best. that's breaking bad followed by sopranos. the later got drawn out a bit but i'd still say its #2. although playmakers was awesome before it got shut down. i'd prob put it top 5.

I'd have no problem saying The Wire is the greatest show ever.

Wife and I binged on ST and are now through episode 4 on ST2.

Of course power flashed (off, then back on) tonight midway through the episode so she got a little freaked out.

It’s definitely not GoT or Homeland level. About Westworld level IMO.

did you like season 1? we really liked it, but like always second season is a letdown when they gotta bust it out quick. this is why i always say BB is the best. that was pre written with a clear end set when they started.

WW became a huge letdown which i wouldnt say about ST. i'd throw a tier between got and HL to put it above WW. (lol all the letters)

Westworld is the best single season of a TV show I've ever seen. GoT is my favorite (by far) as a TV series, though. Stranger Things is just okay, good enough for me to watch but not enough for me to get excited about a new season.

Wife and I were meh about Westworld. It was good but not the hype I had going in. And definitely not worth $100 million and waiting 2 years for season 2.

Homeland was our favorite series before we binged on GoT.

Weird to say maybe but ST season 2 seems like they are stretching a little bit but I want to see how it ends so I can see if it was all for the good of the season.
