Def impressed with AEW. Obviously a lot of no name guys, but it really felt like the first every episode of Nitro back in the day.....characters need development. The WCW influence is heavy which is what I like. I'm all in on this ****.

On a side note......y'all know I'm a cord cutter. I tried out ATT's WatchTV service last night. It has a pretty solid channel selection, and it's only $15/month. No pause, no vods, no dvr, 1 device only, etc, but didn't expect much for that price. It's just like watching live tv 20 years ago. There were some vods, but kinda hit or miss. I think maybe you can go back a few weeks, but didn't play with it much. I'm going to see if it will let me rewatch AEW as an experiment tonight. Here's the channel list. I told all my cord cuttin friends. Solid for that price.....

AEW was pretty good. I've kind of paying attention so I knew who pretty much everyone was. Went about as expected IMO. I think you can watch a couple of the events they had on Bleacher Report Live for free: Stream AEW Fyter Fest live - Official Site - B/R Live

With that channel lineup, and no ability to DVR, etc., I'd just use PlutoTV for free.

If you had zero interest in sports or local channels.

I know what Pluto TV is because it's preloaded on my Vizio TV. It's just a bunch of random channels and one is basically a channel of women dancing around in swimming suits. Another channel is of trains, just trains, driving around. It's really weird.

Or zero interest in service provider. We haven't had anything except netflix and amazon for like 6 years now. 35 fairly popular channels for 15/month is a good price. Shoot i watched aew live, then switched to a channel playing The Outsiders to put on for 30 mins as we went to bed. Tonight I'll be catching playoff baseball, and then my wife can watch live HGTV.

As for Pluto... actually had to look that up. Crackle is pretty well known, but I've never used it.

As I’ve stated before I use YouTube TV. But plutotv isn’t bad it’s like over the air tv but streaming. I think you could have a lot of variety with an antenna and pluto tv for free. Only point I was making.

I don't get **** with an antenna. Couple local stations but they go out when you need them.....for ex NFL games.

Really no idea what you would watch on Pluto. I looked at all the channels and even what was playing tonight. The thing I'm trying is like over the air but always something worth watching on that channel selection, and dirt cheap.

If you get an HD Homerun and setup a Plex server you can use it as DVR for you antenna for local stuff.

im actually thinking about buying a beefy outdoor antenna soon and mounting it where my useless dish it. that would tie it into the coax in my house. i think the local air stuff is ok but i gotta aim south and got some big trees ten feet behind my house. i bet id get good air stuff if i mounted on a pole, but not doing that.

as for dvr, really don't miss that. only thing i miss are live sports. i just find a stream for those, but then im locked to my pc. not the end of the world, but would love to watch a game in the living room without hooking up a laptop.

    cast what?

edit: dawned on me in the shower this morning you probably mean those bootleg streams from my pc. didn't think about that b/c nope.........none of my tvs can accept a cast. at least dont' think they can. we're all fire sticks. i do have a chromecast on one upstairs, but when i tried years ago it was a pain. those streams cut out all the time and you gotta run back to your pc. now i just open first one in new tab, and when it dies go back and open next one in a tab.

I think casting has come a long ways. I streamed a Bucs preseason game on my phone and casted it to my tv and it worked perfectly. You shouldn't have any problems with a chromecast.
