    Hey gang! my '06 had the factory battery in it & kept dying; i got a new one, then it leaked on the Positive terminal, so i was replaced with another new battery;
    it has been sitting in the driveway for 1 week & this morning it started making a VERY loud buzzing sound (like a steady loud hum) it was coming from the right rear taillight!
    any thoughts?

    maybe; it hasn't been running since i got the new battery installed;
    & it wasn't running at all.
    it just started making a loud steady hum, & i opened the trunk & it sounded loudest from the right taillights.
    i disconnected the negative battery cable & it stopped; but it is pouring rain right now & i haven't tried reconnecting the batt.

    Couldn't hurt to disassemble and inspect the tail light, especially the electrical connectors. There may also be some switches and other equipment concealed back there.

    OK GANG --SOLVED
    there is a 2nd horn in the trunk, that is part of the security system
    thats what was draining my battery before,
    thats what was causing the noise
