Who has installed an aftermarked shifter? Tell us what you think and if you would recommend.

I am about to purchase this shifter:

    FRPP 2005-2009 V6 SHORT THROW SHIFTER M-7210-V

I'll post what I think after I get it installed. If you have this shifter, post something soon. :) I do not want to regret buying if someone already knows better....

I do not have the 2001 Mustang anymore.

I recently acquired a Satin Silver 2007 Coupe with the 4.0L and Manual transmission.

    I'll update my profile a.s.a.p!

MGW is probably the best for street. It's smooth and adjustable to get it where you want it to be.

Most people will say go with the MGW because the throw is short and it's very smooth.

I think the MGW looks like a good choice.

However, what is the story with all the dynamat they are using in the installation video? Why can't I just re-use the OEM boot that is there?

Can someone who has this shifter explain?

mgw due to overall quality, lack of noise, throw, and reach (reach is FAR superior in 99-04 not as much in 05+ due to well... no real room to turn the handle sideways very much but it is better)

I would like to point out that this is for a 2005+ car. The shifter designs are way different so your experience with a pre-05 will not be the same case.
