Windstar intake TRUTH

does the Windstar intake make any difference at all? I have one for my 2000 but if it doesn't do anything but look good whats the point.

I did the mid-90s windstar intake and a GT throttle body, and it took .3 seconds off my 1/8 drag strip time.
Also its long intake runners are longer than the mustang ones, helping with low end torque. Probably to help pull the windstar's fat ass around using the same engine.
