wtf Auto Email wont stop!

    I went to options and dissabled auto e-mail notifications whenever someone replys to a thread that I subcribed to,.. but it never stops. What gives? :wtf:

    did you just disable the option to have it on by default, or did you actually cancel all subscriptions?

    i dont want to receive any email notifications saying thaT someone replied in the thread i was in; but, i still would like to click on USER CP and see if ppl replied in the thread i was in. :eek:

    im having the same issues.. Guess i just wont post anymore till the problem gets fixed.. :mad:

    go to that page that lists all your subscriptions and check all the notification checkboxes, then in the drop down menu on the lower right hand side, select update subscription type...no email notification.

    so when i go to user CP will it show that ppl replied to the thread that i posted in?

    i dunno, i never use it. But it is the only way to subscribe to a thread without getting email.

    i found a simple solution.. i blocked all incoming email from this domain.. :)

    did you go to http://3.8mustang.com/forum/subscription.php?do=viewsubscription and delete change them all to no email types? Your method works too, but a) I would block by domain and subject, so you could still get password reminders and stuff and b) it would be nice if server bandwidth and processor time sending mail out was only used for people that use it.
